Hourglass ("the app") is made by SEYO LLC. This policy explains how the app handles your information.

The short version

Hourglass does not collect, store, or share your personal data. Your photos never leave your device.

Photos

• The app asks for access to your photos so it can find screenshots, show your photos, and move photos you marked with ⏳ to the trash (Android) or Recently Deleted (iPhone and iPad) when their period ends.
• Photos are read and processed only on your device. The app never uploads, copies, or sends your photos anywhere.
• The app only deletes photos you marked and screenshots it marked for you, and only to the trash, where you can restore them for 30 days.

Data stored on your device

The app keeps a small amount of information on your device only: which photos are marked, their periods, and your settings. This information is never sent to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the app removes it.

Notifications

The app uses notifications only to tell you about new screenshots and photos whose period has ended. Notifications are created on your device.

Tips (in-app purchases)

If you choose to leave a tip, the payment is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment card details. The app only remembers on your device that you have tipped, to show a thank-you message.

Ratings and reviews

The app may ask you to rate it using the standard Google Play or App Store rating window. Your rating is handled by Google or Apple; the app does not see it.

No accounts, no ads, no tracking

The app has no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
